Nicholas Rosales walked in the doors of Champion’s QUEST to prepare for high school soccer after a successful Cross Country season at Cypress High School. As a freshman, Nicholas ran with the Varsity Cross Country team and had a best finish of 17th place in the Empire League Meet with a 3-mile time of 16:48.
Nicholas set goals of improving his agility, along with his upper body and core strength to improve his athleticism on the soccer field. Nicholas was a standout defender for the Frosh/Soph soccer team this past season and was named team MVP by his peers.
Currently, Nicholas is running track for Cypress HS where he competes in the 800m and 1600m events. Nicholas finished in 1st place in the Frosh/Soph St. Paul Classic in Santa Fe Springs, where he ran 2:08.67 in the 800m. He has since competed with the Varsity Track & Field team and finished in 28th place in the 800m and 24th in the 1600m during the Jim Polite Walnut Invitational.
