With a goal of playing collegiate football, Will began his Quest following his senior football season. Right off the bat we knew Will had plenty of talent, but lacked the size and speed needed to show off his talent at the next level. With this in mind, Will has been extremely dedicated to his workout regimen, gaining over 20 pounds in the last 4 months. His strength has improved greatly, with his squat, deadlift, and bench max’s improving dramatically. I’m very excited for his re-evaluation in the upcoming weeks to see his progress in his speed and agility scores as well.
Will has been training with football specific privates at Champion’s Quest, really focusing on his weight transfer, understanding defensive concepts and special teams responsibilities, and learning how to break down and recognize mistakes in the film room. Will recently committed to St. Johns University in Minnesota, where he will compete for a starting spot on the Johnnies, who ended last year ranked as the #13 DIII team in the nation. Congrats to Will and his family as he continues his football career at the next level.
“Coach Logan and I are proud of how Will and his dedication and hard work have propelled him to make great strides athletically, which not only will show on the field next year at St. Johns University but also have a great impact on his success beyond sports.” – Coach Chris
