Eva Kaplan is a 14-year-old swimmer who has been attending Champion’s Quest for almost 4 years now. I have had the pleasure of working with her for the past year, and I cannot say enough about this girl! Eva came to Champion’s Quest at a young age looking to improve her athleticism and, in turn, her swimming. She has done that and more. Just in the past year I have seen her mature so much athletically and mentally. She is extremely dedicated to her sport, swimming almost every single day with her team. But that doesn’t keep her from accomplishing great things during her training at Champions Quest. The past few quarters we have really worked on improving her upper and lower body power to give her a little extra edge when she is in the pool. We saw the results big time during our last evaluation and her most recent swim meet! You can see some of her best evaluation improvements above, and she placed 1st in multiple events and beat some of her own best times. I was so excited to see her dedication to improvement pay off!
While Eva has been knocking out a lot of her short-term goals, she has been keeping her long-term goals in sight. Next year is high school and she plans on being a key Varsity swimmer for a competitive program. She also has a vision of what college will be like and all the things she would like to accomplish there. Maybe even study in Australia! This girl has a fire in her that makes her fun to work with and exciting to see succeed. I can’t wait to continue to see her grow and see what she accomplishes next! Keep up the good work Eva!!
