Congratulations to Amanda Jones who today has become the first Soccer Academy female athlete to achieve the Champion level status! Amanda has met her goal of reaching 67 total athletic points in the past six months. Amanda has been training with Brittany Gonzales since she was 11 years old. Coach Brittany shares that “she has always been one of the strongest and fastest soccer athletes in the gym. It will be exciting to see where she is in the next four years!” Currently playing for Slammers ECNL U-15, Amanda’s goals are to make the Los Alamitos Varsity Soccer team as an incoming Freshman. We are all eagerly anticipating the results as the teams will be chosen here in the next few months. Amanda shares that she “didn’t think she would get to the Champion level for a couple more years. She is very excited about getting to that level now and being on the top 10 athlete chart.”
