CQ Success Story – Katelyn Kirkendall

Katelyn enrolled at the Champion’s QUEST Athlete Academy to improve her running endurance, overall strength, and agility. When she first arrived at CQ she was not playing any sports. After a year of training, she started playing basketball and has now been chosen to play on the All Star Team! In addition, one of her goals was to achieve high scores in her Physical Education Presidential Testing at school. She has now improved on every score with her most important improvement showing in her mile run, which she has now taken over three minutes off of her overall time!

Some of Katelyn’s achievements are shown below:

Katelyn has been working with Athlete Performance Coach Meggan Brunette, and this is what she has to say about Katelyn since entering the Champion’s QUEST Athlete Academy. “Not only is she a hard working athlete, but she also works hard for others. This past November, Katelyn raised over $800 for the Bonnie J Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, a 5K that I had helped to organize in Irvine. Out of all the athletes we have here at CQ, she went out of her way to make sure that our athletes were represented in the campaign. I am so proud of her on so many levels, as she truly is a joy to coach and an inspiration to other athletes here at our academy.”

Congrats Katelyn on your huge improvements can’t wait to see how much you improve in the next quarter!
