Ali Morales, an eleven year old from St. Pancratius has been training for Golf since this past May. In three months of training here at CQ, Ali has doubled her core strength on isometric evaluation. She also increased two inches on her vertical jump through her commitment to her strength and core training program. In addition, through her work on sports psychology and nutrition, she feels that her energy and mental focus during her tournaments has improved. Since training at Champion’s QUEST, Ali placed 2nd in CYO Golf Tournament making her a three time CYO Girls Flight C Champion. She has also become a 2011 USGLL National Champion for the Long Beach All-Star Team. Ali was named B Flight Champion at the most recent Heartwell Girls Club Championship. She went one under par at David Baker golf course for SCPGA and tied second at the Fil-Am Golf Tournament.
Some of Ali’s achievements are shown below:
Ali has been working with Athlete Performance Coach Meggan Brunette, and this is what she has to say about Ali since entering the Champion’s Quest Academy. “I am lucky to have the opportunity to work with Ali. She is a focused kid who is absolutely dedicated to improving in her sport. We are continually progressing her program by incorporating olympic lifting movements, stabilization exercises, and constant variations of core strengthening movements. As she continues to improve her golf game here at CQ, I learn a few more things about the game as well! I look forward to seeing all Ali Morales accomplishes in this next year!”
Congrats Ali on your huge improvements can’t wait to see how much you improve in the next quarter!
